Bike Ambassador Program

Bike Ambassador Projects

The CCBID’s Safety Ambassador Bike patrol began service on June 8, 2009. We have retained SP Plus Security Services/Preferred Response Security Service (A Service Company of Standard Parking) as our vendor for the bike patrol.

The CCBID provides two (2) UNARMED Officers, 8 hours daily from 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM with a lunch break (approximately) from 3-3:30 P.M. Six (6) days weekly, Monday through Saturday.

Your Safety Officers will provide Ambassador & Safety service for the Century City BID district by:
• Monitoring any vehicles or pedestrian traffic in and around the boundaries of the BID, as practical, by foot or bicycle patrol.
• Providing patrol of the public areas, within the BID boundaries
• Conducting crime prevention activities, as capable in the public areas of the BID.
• Monitoring all public areas/streets within the boundaries of the BID, as capable.
• Taking appropriate actions and reporting of incidents, as appropriate
• Reporting suspicious activity, criminal actions, and emergencies to LAPD.
• Responding to non-violent calls for service from the district, within the BID boundaries.

Our Safety Officers are wearing the Green CCBID District Safety polo shirt while patrolling the District by foot or bicycle during the above-specified hours. Our Safety officers are not to be a replacement for any security on any privately owned property, but are meant to be ambassadors and the ‘eyes and ears’ for the district.

Feel free to call a Bike Ambassador Patrol person at 310-925-8035
